Our ‘Introduction to Medical Research: Essential Skills’ course provides an overview of key steps and common methods in medical research and its publication.

In autumn 2017 the course will run on the following Saturdays:

 

Module 1. Research planning: before you start your research project

  • 23rd September 2017, 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Module 2. Research design and protocol

  • 7th October 2017, 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Module 3. Statistical thinking  

  • 21st October 2017, 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Module 4. Research publication and dissemination

  • 11th November 2017, 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.

 

The course is available to Oxford Foundation School doctors free of charge.
