Dr Maxime Taquet, Oxford clinical lecturer, has been awarded the 2024 Sir Jules Thorn Award for Biomedical Research. The Award recognises the outstanding quality of his cutting-edge research.
OUCAGS alumna wins prestigious Turner-Warwick lecturer competition

Dr Rhea Saksena, a former NIHR ACF affiliated with OUCAGS, is the 2024 Turner-Warwick Lecturer Scheme winner for the Oxford and Thames Valley region. She is due to present her winning lecture at the forthcoming ‘Update in medicine’ Birmingham conference of the Royal College of Physician (RCP) in June 2024.

OUCAGS alumna becomes NIHR Global Research Professor

Prof. Susie Dunachie has been awarded an NIHR Global Research Professorship. This is a flagship award in applied global health research with a particular focus on underfunded, under-researched areas. It aims to promote effective translation of research into practice by strengthening research leadership.

Former OUCAGS ACF, Dr Robert Hallifax, received a Best Green Shoots Research award at the Thames Valley Health Research Awards ceremony on 26th September, in Oxford.
