how to apply for the Oxford Academic Foundation Programme (AFP)

The Oxford AFP offers over 20 places on the two-year training course. Application is through a national process.

A small number of places are also available on the standalone AFP Year 2. These are open only to Foundation Year 1 doctors already in the Health Education Thames Valley.

Recruitment to the programme usually takes place from May each year, to start in August of the following year.

Preparing your application early is an excellent idea.
