Oxford Academic Specialised Foundation Programme (ASFP) RECRUITMENT

The Oxford ASFP offers over 20 places on the two-year training course. Recruitment to the two year ASFP Foundation Programme is through a standard national process with an application window from late September to early October for posts starting in August of the following year.  

A small number of places are also available on the standalone ASFP Year 2. These are open only to Foundation Year 1 doctors already in the NHS England Thames Valley.The application window for the standalone ASFP Year 2 programme usually opens around March each year, for posts starting in August of the same year.

Please note our programme only offers research rather than medical education or management options.

During an ASFP post you may require funding towards conference attendance and research expenses, such as consumables.
